Dad's Army Gamertag

Hey crack heads,

I'll be around at a friends place tomorrow to update some games and check the Marketplace and I'll be setting up a Gamertag for Dad's Army. Everyone registered on the forum will be sent friends requests so we can check it out for new members and make it easy to send Friend Requests, plus have everyone under the same Group.

I'll send DANNO the password so he can load the profile up and maintain it on the Xbox and if he wishes I can help on the PC side of things

I don't think we're are quite ready for a name change just yet, so thanks to all those who put forward some great ideas....maybe one day?

As I said in the other thread Dads Army and DadsArmy are unavailable (probably due to copywrite laws) for Gamertags. Which would you prefer...

Ok so I was was online yesterday and decided to set the GT up without waiting for everyone else NOT to vote. I sent messages out but I should've included a link or sumfin, but anyways the important people have voted and I've gone with....

i don't even have Silver, i've been suspended and can't use that gamertag at all.


and now crackdown is giving me the shit, it keeps freezing my xbox at the start menu.

please tell me this is just a fucked disc and not a sign that my Sexbox is about to die.

Well that sucks balls. Have you tried unpluggin the cable for LIVE, I know Crackwhore likes to see a LIVE connection because it has that HALO 3 beta on it.
But you would've tried that right?

You could setup a boggy GT and use the free trial for playing Gears....I don't think you'll have any trouble thinking of a name that everyone would recognise

so when you sign up a new gamertag how long free trial do you get, a month or just 48 hours?

1st get a Windows LIVE ID on your 'puty (hotmail/MSN/live), then get on your box and go "Join Xbox LIVE". Do it through the Xbox because if you do it on th Xbox.com website you won't get a month trial....I know as I did this with one of my other boggy accounts
When you select SILVER for $0.00 and complete the sign up it'll give you a month trial!

You maybe able to do the whole thing on the Box but I've only ever done it once I've already had an LIVE ID.

I know security may seem pretty relaxed with them giving out a free month, but as you can only do it on a 360 the serial number is registitered as well. I assume they allow reasonable amounts of new accounts from one Box, but I have heard of stupid yanks getting a new GT every month and then their 360 actually being blocked after numerous accounts were created.

but yes that makes sense, i'll probably sort out my gamertag in the next week anyway, i just didn't really want to give them my CC details again. but i might set up another account this arvo just so i can get some games in while my threefish10 account is in hiatus.

That's all I did when my account got suspened and set up the XXxxCAPPRIXxxXX account . The only thing that pised me off was when everyone sent me voice messages on my main account and I couldn't access them Think I had about 30 bloody voice or picture messages so I know why you don't want them duckio
Threefish when I set my one up I only played it online which was mainly with Cod4 as I didn't want to earn ach's that I didn't have on main one and have to do them all over again-------- Got called a no0b quite a bit but didn't bother me

It's not very widely known as in the 1800's when the 1st boats arrived all of the stowaways didn't want to be in the same state as all of those convict's , so they stole the boat and crossed the ditch .
